I made: 2-3Years.DD’s height: 85.5cm(chart 84-91), chest 54cm(chart 53-56), waist 53(chart 51-53).I made skirt portion less full as I made tunic and I didn’t want that too full(pattern calls to cut 2x22in, I cut 2x 15 3/4″). When we are talking about her instructions they are more on the “holding hand” side with quick glance page so great for beginners. I think it is great layering piece and I am thinking of making one in red, if I find suitable fabric, for Christmas parties. What I love the most about this pattern is how versatile it is! You can wear it under cardigan or even put long sleeved shirt underneath! Make it in different lengths, add shirring to the back, change straps or make it more poofy. And those who know me, know that I am a sucker at matching outfits, I just can’t help myself and think that this is the cutest thing ever! So on that side, you can make matching mummy and me outfits! 🙂 And make sure to look around at her page because she has many mummy and me bundles 😉
Now to the photos, these are crappy as it is getting colder outside and it is just not possible to take photos of that kind of shirt outside. I am too sad that winter is approaching so fast and this made me realize that I should probably invest in good lighting and photo props..
Let me know, how you feel about matching outfits? Do you like them or hate them? And if you love them share me your treasures, a.k.a. patternmakers who make matching patterns 😉
