Now it is really getting warmer and warmer which means we can wear lighter clothing. I love to use longsleeved linen and cotton blouses on kids so I won’t need to use sunscreen! For that is Twig + Tale new Driftwood blouse (link!*) and dress perfect! I used lightweight linen and cotton poplin on DD’s blouses and these have been nonstop worn every day!
Actually not so hot in Estonia, but this is the name of the blog tour you’ll see post about today!
I had other plans for todays blog post but since I had pneumonia and struggled with sewing during that period you’ll see today my summer sewing inspiration post 🙂
Although I usually sew more for kids I am starting to cherish all those thing I sew to myself. So today you’ll see what I would love to wear in the summer by myself. This post may contain some affiliate links, with which I’ll get small amount of money when you buy something after clicking on my link. It won’t cost more to you but it helps me with my patternaddiction! 🙂
At first, I’ll show you a top which pattern I already have. I bought it to sew for Breaking ground blog tour but time went so quickly I struggled even printing that out, so.. LAVitaly Summer Top it is (link)
Next I would love to sew some more comfy viscose pants! I have one pair (that still needs to be photographed!) and I totally want some more because they are perfect on hot days! My fave for these are Zierstoff Svea pants (aff link). These are the comfiest summer pants I have ever owned!
Since I now have the figure, I thought making Talia by Laela Jeyne patterns (aff link) could be good option for this summer. Last year I made a Tula but this is too wide this year 🙂
I think these 3 items could totally be my summer sewing list for myself 😉 3 months, 3 items 🙂
